This printer driver incorporates new usability features that were designed to meet all your needs with flexibility, whether you are a novice or advanced user.
One click presets are registered combinations of print settings. They allow you to avoid having to make multiple print settings every time you want to print a job, thereby reducing the chances of mistakes and misprints. We recommend you use one click presets if you want to apply consistent print settings to multiple jobs.
Several general one click presets are available as defaults on the Frequently Used Settings tab. You can also make changes to the basic print settings displayed under One Click Preset List:.
Also, since one click presets can be saved and retrieved as printer settings files, they can be shared among users. One click presets allow users without detailed knowledge of the printer properties to take advantage of the printer's more advanced features.
Loading a Printing Preferences Settings File as a One Click Preset
You can register up to 32 one click presets including system-provided presets.
If more than 32 one click presets are registered, performance may be affected and proper operation is not guaranteed.
In a multi-user environment, a thin client environment, or a "Point and Print" environment, users can share one click presets registered by the Administrator.
Users without detailed knowledge of the printer driver properties can utilize the printer's advanced features by using the one click presets registered by the Administrator.
The Detailed Settings tab provides menus for detailed print settings. If you change print settings frequently for various jobs, or often print using different settings, you can use these menus to make the detailed print settings that you require.
For your convenience, we recommend you use an existing one click preset as a basis for new settings. To do this, select a one click preset on the Frequently Used Settings tab, and then, using the Detailed Settings tab, change the settings of the selected one click preset as required.
If necessary, you can then register these settings as a new one click preset.
